ADC

The Alternative Discipline Center (ADC) serves elementary, middle and high school students in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD who have been temporarily placed as a result of serious disciplinary infractions. ADC provides a highly structured, supportive environment where students continue their academic progress while developing the behavioral and social skills necessary for a successful return to their home campus.

Placement at ADC is determined by the administration at the student's home campus.

Upon placement:
  • Students and their parent or guardian will participate in a mandatory orientation meeting before starting at ADC.
  • During this meeting, families will receive a comprehensive information packet that outlines all expectations for the duration of the placement—including daily schedules, dress code requirements, academic expectations, behavioral guidelines, and campus procedures.
  • Students must meet all requirements in the areas of attendance, behavior, and academic achievement to successfully complete their placement and transition back to their home campus.
ADC provides:
  • A Level System that promotes growth through consistent expectations and positive reinforcement.
  • A no-homework model, with all academic work completed during the school day.
  • Daily behavior monitoring and clear consequences for non-compliance.
  • On-site counseling support as well as continued services from the student’s home campus counselors.
  • A secure environment, including daily metal detector screenings and supervised campus movement.

ADC is designed to support student accountability while fostering the skills necessary for long-term success in school and beyond.
